Problem Note 49505: Lump sums might be incorrectly counted twice when you make a copy of a promotion that is imported in using ETL
Lump sums might be incorrectly counted twice when you make a copy of a promotion that is imported in using ETL in SAS® Promotion Optimization. This issue occurs when the promotion that is copied has the following characteristics:
- The promotion is imported in using ETL.
- The promotion has regionals.
- There is a vendor deal on the master and regional promotions.
The lump sums are counted twice because the software incorrectly changes the value of RPP_VENDOR_DEAL.STATE_CD when the promotion is copied. RPP_VENDOR_DEAL.STATE_CD specifies whether the vendor deal is normal, or for regionals promotions, inherited, or overridden.
Contact Technical Support for a workaround for this issue.
